Join us on one of our Nordic Walking trips.
Our short walking holidays take us further afield than our usual Cheshire stomping ground.
Due to the ongoing Corona virus pandemic we feel that we should take the opportunity to explore the best of what England has to offer.
See below for more detailed information on each trip.
THE ULLSWATER WAY
This is a new 20 mile walking route that circumnavigates the stunning Ullswater through a spectacular landscape rich in history and cultural heritage.
We walk the full circuit of the lake over two days using a combination of steamer and taxi transport to return to our base at the very gorgeous Pooley Bridge. We then do a circular walk over to Askham and the historic Lowther Castle. If you haven’t visited the North Eastern part of the Lake District before this is a great trip to explore this really lovely quiet area.

What can we say about Ludlow – its a market town in Shropshire, England, surrounding by beautiful, peaceful rolling hills. The town is near the confluence of the rivers Corve and Teme. The oldest part is the medieval walled town, founded in the late 11th century after the Norman Conquest of England. It is centred on a small hill which lies on the eastern bank of a bend of the River Teme. Situated on this hill are Ludlow Castle and the parish church, St Laurence’s, the largest in the county. From there the streets slope downward to the River Teme, and northward toward the River Corve. The town is in a sheltered spot beneath Mortimer Forest and the Clee Hills, which the spectacular walking provides amazing views of the town.

WALKING THE BEST OF THE LAKE DISTRICT
This is the ultimate low level circular route around the very loveliest parts of the Lake District. The views and sights in the stirring landscape of Britain’s UNESCO World Heritage are unrivalled. It incorporates lakeside paths, quiet country lanes, a section of the Cumbria Way and also some of the best not frequented paths that provide truly jaw dropping moments as the surrounding views of high fells, gushing streams, traditional stone villages and beautiful lakes appear.
The mileages for this walk are not huge as it is too good to rush and there are great lunch stops each day.
