“Bev persuaded me to try Nordic Walking three years ago; she said I’d love it and she was right! I completed the ‘Walking Leader’ course so I can help Bev out whenever she needs me.
I have been teaching ballet and modern dance for
thirty years. Core stability, balance, co-ordination and, of course, good posture are essential for a dancer. These are all strengths we can also develop through Nordic Walking to help us with our everyday life.We have a holiday home in the Austrian Alps where we spend as much time as possible walking and biking in the mountains. I’ll never better my husband on a bike but I beat him up the mountain every time with my Nordic walking poles!”
