I’m a keen walker from further back than I care to remember starting with compulsory hikes with my Dad and then a lot of hikes in the Lakes and elsewhere in my teens. As my horizons expanded I hiked in places as diverse as the Golden Triangle in northern Thailand, Central Park in New York and Tatton Park – and many places in between.

Shockingly, I then lost my way and for more than 10 years became a keen cyclist but eventually saw the light and have returned to the fold and more specifically the One True Path of Nordic Walking!
