We had to change the location for our day walk last Thursday. The forecast for the Lake District was dreadful so we swung East to Macclesfield Forest and had a really good day. We walked 13.5 miles, 3180 ft of ascent, 1 bacon buttie to start and 2 cakes stops. Perfect day out!
