Well what can I say! The sun shone, the views were lovely, the cakes delicious in fact the whole day was ‘off the scale’ – 20 out of 10!
We started by climbing up onto the moor which rewarded us with far-reaching 360 degree views then slowly descended through a narrow valley called Soles Hollow to do a short section of the Manifold Trail before heading up to Wetton for a very nice lunch.
We then dropped into Milldale and then walked the length of Dovedale which if you have never done it you should definitely put it on your bucket list.
Yet another very fine day indeed!
