Following on from our fundraising efforts of last year I have been thinking about which charity to donate our funds to this year.
Kathy’s Centre
I was asked a while ago to have a look at an African charity which is based in Altrincham called Kathy’s Centre. Kathy’s Centre will provide the people of Mayuge District, Uganda with a kindergarten/early years education facility and access to advice, counselling and health support for women.
Prostate Cancer UK
As I do firmly believe that charity begins at home, I would like to split the funds that we raise between Kathy’s Fund and the Prostate Cancer Charity that Ian volunteers for, Prostate Cancer UK.
