LET’S MAKE THE MOST OF THE FRESH SPRING AIR by taking time to incorporate some relaxing deeper breathing into your Nordic walking.
The rhythmic action of Nordic Walking is known to be relaxing but if you follow this 4×4 breathing drill you will experience a yoga-like sense of well-being in the great outdoors!
All you need to do is take a long slow deep breath in through your nose as you count 4 steps. Then exhale through your mouth as you take the next 4 steps.
Ideally, slow down your pace to match your breathing and (we know many of you may struggle with this!) – NO TALKING!!
Include this into your regular walks and you will have the power of SPRING in your STEP!
